How to Apply Rubio Monocoat Oil Plus 2C

Application Tools

To achieve optimal results, we recommend using our specially designed application tools for Oil Plus 2C:

• Oil removal cloth
• Stirring stick

Apply the Oil

1. Shake the Oil Plus 2C container well before use, or mix well with a stirring stick.
2. Mix 3 parts Part A (the oil) to 1 part Part B (the accelerator).
3. Using a beige scrubby pad, apply the oil on the wood surface.
4. For larger surfaces, work in sections to ensure even coverage.
5. After applying the oil, let it sit for 5 minutes to allow it to penetrate the wood fibres.
6. Use a white scrubby pad or white wiping rag to remove any excess oil from the surface.

The surface will be dry within 12–24 hours. Avoid cleaning until it is fully cured, which will take up to 5 days.
